Description

AWS Connect Engineer Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2–3 days per week onsite) Salary: CAD $120,000–$145,000 Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time About the Role We are seeking experienced AWS Connect Engineers to support a major cloud contact centre transformation programme. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and integrating Amazon Connect solutions while helping deliver next-generation customer experience and AI-enabled capabilities. Working closely with architects, business stakeholders, and engineering teams, you will be responsible for building integrations between Amazon Connect and enterprise applications, authentication services, IVR platforms, and customer-facing systems. Key Responsibilities Design and implement Amazon Connect solutions.Build integrations with enterprise applications and APIs.Configure contact flows, customer journeys, queues, and routing logic.Support cloud contact centre migration activities.Collaborate with architects and delivery teams on technical design and implementation.Troubleshoot production issues and support releases across environments.Mentor internal team members on Amazon Connect best practices. Requirements Strong hands-on Amazon Connect experience.Experience integrating Amazon Connect with enterprise systems.Knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.Experience working within large-scale transformation programmes.Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Ability to work onsite in Toronto 2–3 days per week.
