Junior DevOps Engineer

Our Platform Engineering team builds and operates the cloud infrastructure that powers Flix’s services across Europe and beyond. We manage a Kubernetes-based platform on AWS and enable engineering teams to deploy and operate scalable, reliable applications. The team focuses on automation, infrastructure as code, and continuous improvement of our platform capabilities. About The Role Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS using Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)Automate infrastructure and operational workflows to improve efficiency and reliabilitySupport API infrastructure, including API gateways and publishing APIs to external consumersMonitor systems, troubleshoot incidents, and contribute to improving system reliability and recovery processesCollaborate with engineering teams and support them in using the platform effectivelyContinuously improve platform tooling, automation, and engineering practicesParticipate in an on-call rotation to support platform stability About You At least 6 months of professional experience in software, platform, or infrastructure engineeringHands-on experience with PythonBasic knowledge of Linux/UNIX systems and shell usageExperience with containerization and interest in KubernetesUnderstanding of networking fundamentals (e.g. TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS)Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD conceptsStrong communication skills and ability to work in a teamFluent in English Nice to have Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, or cloud platforms (e.g. AWS)Exposure to API infrastructure (e.g. API gateways, external API publishing)Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)Interest in improving developer experience and platform usability We recognize that everyone carries a unique set of valuable skills and experiences.
