Cloud Engineer / DevOps Engineer – Microsoft Azure Location: 100% Remote Client location: Frankfurt, Germany Industry: Transport & Logistics Start: 20 August 2026 Project duration: Until 20 February 2027 Language: German required We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer / DevOps Engineer to support the operation, security and further development of a Microsoft Azure cloud environment for an international project in the transport and logistics sector. Your responsibilitiesOperate and enhance Azure infrastructure, including Web Apps, Azure Functions and Azure SQLConfigure and maintain Azure Application GatewaysDesign secure Azure network architectures and connectivityManage secrets, certificates and keys using Azure Key VaultImplement monitoring and logging with Azure Log AnalyticsDevelop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using ARM Templates or BicepBuild and manage CI/CD workflows in Azure DevOps PipelinesImprove cloud security, platform reliability and deployment automation Required experienceAt least 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft AzureStrong knowledge of Azure NetworkingExperience with Azure Platform-as-a-Service and serverless architecturesAzure SQL administration and database security expertisePractical experience with ARM Templates or BicepExperience implementing and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructureProfessional working proficiency in German Advantageous skills.NET Azure Functions using the dotnet-isolated modelAzure Logic Apps and workflow automationUser-assigned and system-assigned Managed IdentitiesNSG hardening using deny-all and whitelisting principlesSecurity experience related to Azure Cognitive SearchPrevious experience in transport or logistics projects Technology environmentMicrosoft Azure, ARM Templates, Bicep, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps Pipelines, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Managed Identities, Application Gateway, Key Vault, Log Analytics, NSG and Azure Cognitive Search.
