AWS Cloud Engineer

Role : AWS Cloud Engineer Skills: AWS Cloud, Terraform and Kubernetes Location: Frankfurt Germany (Remote) Years of Experience: 3-5 years Language Requirement: B2/C1 German speaker We are at Coforge hiring for seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer / Cloud Operations Engineer with a strong background in application support, specifically in Pega and Customer Decision Hub (CDH). The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience with AWS services, cloud operations, and deployment, along with a willingness to engage in development and testing tasks when not focused on AWS responsibilities. Proficiency in the German language is essential for effective communication in customer-facing roles. Responsibilities: Manage and support AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications, particularly those utilizing Pega and CDH.Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes using tools like Terraform and Kubernetes.Provide application support and troubleshooting for Pega Decisioning and related technologies.Engage in development and testing activities as needed to support project goals.Ensure compliance with security best practices and policies in cloud operations.Document processes, configurations, and changes to maintain clear operational guidelines.Mandatory Skills: 3-5 years of experience with AWS cloud services.Proficiency in German (B2-C1 level) for customer-facing interactions.Experience in cloud operations, deployment, monitoring, and security.Willingness to work as a developer/tester when not engaged in AWS tasks.Preferred Skills: Experience with Pega CDH (Customer Decision Hub).Familiarity with Pega development or testing.Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools.Experience with Terraform and Kubernetes.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.Relevant certifications in AWS or cloud technologies are a plus.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
