What You’ll Do Support ASX core network, including Datacentre Network, Internet, Office, Service Provider Network, Network Monitoring and Security.Contributing to procedural documentation and knowledge base as required.Responding to incoming support incidents in a timely manner. Resolve incidents, problems and change requests to required service level targetsManage time in a manner to ensure all tasks are completed within specified time framesOperate within ITIL service management processes including incident, problem and change managementUphold and adhere to ASX’s core values, guidelines, policies and proceduresContribute to the design and implementation of projectsLiaise between the customer, stakeholders and infrastructure to provide innovative solutions for ASX Customers (internal and external)Management of Network Infrastructure including Monitoring and Capacity Planning.Assist in the deployment of networks to support ASX and backend projectsASX Position Description 2/3Improve on proactivity and ensure all of processes are being reviewed to ensure efficiency What You’ve Done Solid Experience in F5 Arista Switching/Wireless ,Cisco and Cumulus networking technologiesEVPN, VRF, MPLS, NAT, QoS and VPN knowledgeExperience in delivering and supporting large scale networksExperience working on F5 technologies (LTM, GTM, APM and ASM). Design, support and upgrade of F5 physical and virtual devices.Experience working on Palo Alto Security technologies. Design, support and upgrade of Palo Alto network firewall devices.Influenced and negotiated with stakeholders to achieve the best outcomesDirectly interfaced with non-technical customersExperience working with and maintaining mission critical networksWorked with monitoring tools and developed metrics for network availability And if you’ve got some of this, even better: Tertiary degree in computer science/engineering/telecommunications.Vendor certifications CCNP / CCIE, F5, Palo Alto etc.Knowledge and support of operating systems – Windows / LinuxScripting skillsNetwork monitoringMentoring team members.
