Senior Backend Developer | Python, Azure & AI Integration |6 Month Contract with extensions | $900-$1000 PD | Brisbane CBD | Hybrid (2-3 Days In Office) About The Company I'm partnering with a leading professional services organisation that is investing heavily in modernising its internal applications and data platforms. As part of a major transformation program, they're looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join their Applications & Data Integration team and help build the backend services that will support a new modular portal and AI-enabled solutions. Working within an established Agile delivery team, you'll collaborate with Product Owners, Transformation Leads and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality solutions through fortnightly sprint cycles. About the role You'll be responsible for designing and developing scalable backend services using Python, building cloud-native applications with Azure Functions and creating robust APIs that integrate with enterprise systems and Databricks. You'll play a key role in building reusable services, implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and delivering automated CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps. This is a collaborative role where you'll work closely with both technical and business stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable and maintainable solutions while contributing to the organisation's growing AI and automation capabilities.
