Description

One of our Federal Government Clients is seeking to engage a Senior Drupal Web Developer– EL1 Please check below all the job details: Contract Duration: 12 Months (06 Months initially + 06 Months extension)Work Location: Canberra and Melbourne (Hybrid)Working Arrangement: The standard schedule is 5 office days per fortnight, Work is flexible from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday with core hours of attendance being 9.30am-12noon to 2pm-4pm. A standard day is 7.5 hours with a maximum work week being no more than 37.5 hours.Eligibility: You must need to be Australian CitizenTentative Start Date: ASAPWorking Hours: 7.5 Hours a day Key duties and responsibilities: Provide technical expertise and development capability to support a small web team managing a complex, newly transitioned website project.Ensure the continuity and improvement of existing internal and external facing online platforms as well as being deeply involved in the development and release of new features and applications.Utilise a strong technical background in all facets of web development to assist with development of software, websites and web applications.Develop visuals and interfaces as well as backend actions on websites or web applications.Contribute to ad-hoc web issue tracking, response and rectification within a small internal web team.Liaise directly with key internal stakeholders to address issues and provide high-quality solutions within the limitations of the existing platforms.Support the development of procurement documentation for vendors including documenting technical requirements for the PC website.Support the preparation and publishing of website content in accordance with accepted Australian Government website standards and practices. Technical skills: Experience in Drupal website development and maintenance of Drupal websites.
