Title: Senior Software Engineer, Full-Stack Location: Monday-Thursday in NYC office, Friday remote About the role We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer on behalf of our client with 3-5+ years of experience to join a fast-growing AI healthcare startup and own projects that span the entire stack. You’ll be building greenfield products that create automation in a fast-scaling business. You should have experience at both an early-stage VC-backed startup and a larger tech company, bringing best practices without being rigid. This is a high-ownership role where you'll work closely with the founding team, ship quickly, and see your work in production with real feedback loops the next day. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in full- stack software engineering, strong foundation in PythonBuilding and scaling high- throughput and distributed systems (observability/monitoring and reliability for mission- critical systems)2+ years at an early- stage, VC- backed startupProficient in TypeScript end- to- end (frontend, backend, and infra)Experience building and scaling distributed systems in productionDegree in Computer Science or Computer EngineeringMission- driven; eager to build from scratchLow ego; changes mind quickly when presented with better arguments Preferred Qualifications Experience at a big tech company or tier- one startup (e. g. , Ramp, Stripe)Built or deployed AI applications (LLMs, ML pipelines) in production Benefits Early-stage startup equity (stock options)Competitive salaryHybrid work schedule (in-office Mon–Thu)New York City office locationDirect collaboration with founding teamHigh ownership and impact on business outcomes
