Primary Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable applications using .NET / .NET CoreBuild and maintain microservices-based architecturesDevelop RESTful APIs and backend servicesDevelop and deploy applications in Azure cloud environmentsWork with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestrationWrite and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemasPerform performance tuning for applications and databasesProvide production support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysisParticipate in on-call rotations and incident resolutionCollaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product)Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automationEnsure code quality through reviews, testing, and best practicesMentor junior developers and provide technical guidanceDesign, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges with emphasis on responsible use of AI

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in CS or IT related field8+ years of experience in software development using .NET / C#5+ years of experience with ASP.NET Core and Web APIs5+ years of experience with SQL skills (query optimization, indexing, stored procedures, performance tuning)5+ years of experience with REST principles and API design3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices3+ years of experience with Git and modern development workflows2+ years of experience with microservices architecture2+ years of Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes2+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure or any other public cloud platform like AWS or GCP (App Services, AKS, Azure SQL, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with event-driven systems (Kafka, Service Bus, etc.)Experience troubleshooting production issues in distributed systemsKnowledge of monitoring toolsUnderstanding of security best practices in cloud applicationsAll Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.

The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment.
