Rust Engineer Full-time · On-site (San Francisco) · 2 to 5 years experience About the role We are hiring a Rust Engineer to own the end-to-end migration of our AI gateway from Python to Rust, with the goal of making it the fastest AI gateway ever built. You will plan the migration directly with the CTO, structure the codebase from the ground up, and lead a gradual, stability-first rollout. The core mission is improving performance, latency, and throughput for enterprise customers operating at scale. This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants their fingerprints on a foundational rebuild, not incremental tickets.
