Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

Key Requirements: Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure.Strong expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including designing reusable enterprise-grade modules and templates.Advanced experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions, particularly in migrating repositories and CI/CD pipelines from Azure DevOps to GitHub.Deep knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), including namespaces, security, RBAC, networking, governance, and access controls.Proven experience designing, architecting, and implementing CI/CD pipelines, rather than only maintaining existing pipelines.Experience building developer self-service platforms/portals (preferably Backstage) with automated infrastructure provisioning and security guardrails.Strong understanding of AI infrastructure on Azure, including Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, Document Intelligence, model deployment, and private networking. (AI application development experience is not required.)Demonstrated senior-level technical leadership with the ability to lead projects, provide architectural guidance, influence technical decisions, and work independently with minimal supervision.Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills, with the ability to support multiple business units and guide engineering teams effectively.Must be willing to work onsite in Chicago every Tuesday and Wednesday.Financial services experience and Azure certifications are preferred but not mandatory for candidates with exceptional technical expertise.
