Senior React Developer

At ABAKUS IT SOLUTIONS we are looking for an experienced Senior React Developer to join an Agile product team responsible for developing and enhancing modern digital solutions used by thousands of enterprise users. You will be part of a collaborative, cross-functional environment where developers are involved throughout the entire software lifecycle, from design and development to testing, deployment, and continuous improvement. While your primary focus will be on the frontend using React, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to backend development with Java and Spring. Your Responsibilities Develop and maintain modern, responsive applications using React.Translate functional requirements into clean, maintainable, and high-quality code.Build scalable and reusable frontend components.Contribute to backend development using Java and Spring Framework when needed.Integrate applications with APIs and external services.Apply software engineering best practices including Clean Code, SOLID principles, and Design Patterns.Write and maintain automated tests using Jest and React Testing Library.Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions.Troubleshoot, optimize performance, and resolve application issues.Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, testers, and business stakeholders in an Agile Scrum environment.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent professional experience.Minimum 8 years of experience in software development.Strong expertise in:ReactModern JavaScript (ES6+)GitJestReact Testing LibrarySolid understanding of:Clean Code principlesSOLID principlesSoftware Design PatternsPractical experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).Experience working in Agile Scrum teams.Comfortable with pair programming and collaborative development.Professional proficiency in English (French or Dutch is an asset).
