Who you are
You will be a key contributing member of our Engineering team, working on a new customer facing product.
You'll play a pivotal role in backend service design and development, data modelling and prototype implementation.
This role has a direct business and customer impact, ensuring every customer can seamlessly access a new solution which will change their ways of working.
You'll focus on maintaining code quality across the team, and unblock challenges.
What you will do
Building and extending a modular monolith, a .NET-based backend with clean internal product boundaries and a multi-tenant data modelWorking with Postgres, DynamoDB, and an internal SNS event bus as the primary data and messaging infrastructureDesigning and implementing domain services (shift state machines, audit outbox, eligibility pipelines) where correctness and causal ordering matterUsing AI tooling actively: not as a shortcut, but as a genuine accelerant for code generation, design exploration, and documentationContributing to architecture decisions and flagging when something does not add upCollaborate with teammates to design and implement architectural approaches that integrate our product suite in enterprise environments.Contribute ideas for process improvements and technical innovation that enhance how we work.Partner with Product Managers to deeply understand requirements and deliver solutions that align with the product strategy.
What you’ll need
3+ years of experience as a Software EngineerTechnical experience with C#, .Net, Postgres, DynamoDBJavaScript, React or AngularAWS or similar cloud technologies.AI Fluency, genuine comfort using AI tooling as part of how you work: generating code, stress-testing designs, accelerating research, writing documentation.
Engineers who treat it as a core part of their workflow will thrive.Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate clearly within a diverse, cross-functional team.
Some ‘nice to haves’
Domain knowledge of HR, Workforce Management, scheduling or payroll will be helpful but not required.
