Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure systems to ensure high availability and performanceManage and support virtualization platforms, storage systems, and server environmentsMonitor system performance and implement tuning and optimization as neededPerform system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes in accordance with change management policiesDevelop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline operationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure needs and projectsEnsure compliance with company security standards and best practicesParticipate in incident management and problem resolutionDocument system configurations, procedures, and operational guidelines
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field12+ years of experience in infrastructure systems engineering or a related fieldStrong knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)Experience with storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, and distributed file systemsGood understanding of networking fundamentals and security practicesProficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or PythonAbility to troubleshoot complex system and infrastructure issuesFamiliarity with backup and disaster recovery solutionsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsRelevant certifications (e.g., VCP, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) are a plus
