Full Stack Engineer

We are working with a large-scale manufacturing company headquartered in Ypres, with decades of industrial expertise and a growing digital ambition. As they modernize production, logistics, and customer-facing systems, they're building an in-house engineering team to design and maintain the software that keeps factories, supply chain, and business operations running smoothly. This is a rare opportunity to bring modern web development into a traditional, high-impact industrial environment - where your code directly supports real-world manufacturing at scale. They're looking for a Full-Stack Engineer who's comfortable working across the entire stack, from building intuitive front-end interfaces to designing back-end services and APIs. You'll work closely with operations, logistics, and quality teams to translate real manufacturing challenges into reliable software solutions. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain full-stack web applications using React, Node.js, and GraphQLDevelop internal tools for production tracking, inventory management, and reportingBuild and maintain APIs that connect factory systems, ERP software, and business applicationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, quality, logistics, management) to gather requirements and ship practical solutionsWrite clean, well-tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviewsHelp shape our engineering practices, tooling, and architecture as the team growsTroubleshoot and resolve production issues with a sense of ownership and urgency Your Profile Proven experience building production applications with React (hooks, state management, component architecture)Strong back-end development skills with Node.jsHands-on experience designing and consuming GraphQL APIs (schema design, resolvers, performance considerations)Solid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databasesComfortable working with version control (Git) and modern CI/CD workflowsA pragmatic, problem-solving mindset — you enjoy turning messy real-world processes into clean digital workflowsGood communication skills in English; Dutch or French is a strong plus given our local operationsExperience in manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environments is a bonus, but not required The Offer Up to €6.000, dependent on interview process & experienceFull package including mobility options/carThe chance to build software with tangible, visible impact on a large industrial operationA collaborative, low-bureaucracy environment where engineers have real influence over technical decisionsModern equipment and tooling, with room to introduce new technologies and best practicesFlexible/hybrid working arrangementsNew office environment in Ypres
