🚀 We're Hiring: Senior Backend Engineer (Golang) | Remote
At Shokworks, we're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong Golang expertise to help build scalable, cloud-native applications used by clients across multiple industries.

What You'll Do
✅ Design and develop high-performance backend services using Go (Golang).
✅ Build scalable microservices and RESTful/gRPC APIs.
✅ Develop cloud-native solutions on AWS.
✅ Design distributed systems and asynchronous workflows.
✅ Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment.
What We're Looking For
✔️ Strong professional experience with Go (Golang).
✔️ Experience designing scalable backend architectures and microservices.
✔️ Strong knowledge of concurrency (goroutines, channels) and performance optimization.
✔️ Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and data modeling.
✔️ Experience with RabbitMQ or other message brokers.
✔️ Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized applications.
✔️ Experience building and deploying applications on AWS (Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, SQS, IAM).
✔️ Experience with backend testing using Go's testing framework, Testify, GoMock, or similar tools.
✔️ Experience integrating AI capabilities into applications, including LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.).
Familiarity with RAG, AI Agents, MCP, or vector databases is a plus.
✔️ Comfortable using AI-powered developer tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar agentic IDEs to accelerate development while maintaining high code quality.
✔️ Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native development is a plus.
✔️ Upper-Intermediate to Advanced English.
