Backend Engineer - Azure and .NET

What Awaits You About the Role We are looking for 2 experienced Mid/Senior Backend Engineers to join an existing enterprise team and support the operation, stabilization, and further development of an Azure-based backend receiving component within a hybrid system landscape. The role is focused on strengthening an existing team with strong Azure, .NET, and integration know-how. It combines hands-on backend engineering with support for system stability, scalability, and technical evolution in a business-critical environment. This is not a classic managed service setup, but rather a full-time engineering contribution within an existing team, working during regular business hours. Responsibilities Join and strengthen an existing engineering team with hands-on expertise in Azure backend development and hybrid integrationsSupport the operation, stabilization, and continuous enhancement of a backend receiving component running in the central Azure tenantContribute to the further development of the component based on functional and technical requirementsAnalyze and resolve technical issues related to system stability, interfaces, and scaling behaviorDesign, implement, and maintain backend services using C# / .NET technologiesWork with Azure services, especially Azure Functions and Azure Event Hub, in a production-oriented enterprise environmentDesign and implement REST APIs and contribute to API publishing and API management topicsCollaborate on adjacent interfaces and connected components across a hybrid cloud / on-premise landscapeSupport monitoring, troubleshooting, and observability using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and SplunkWork closely with internal stakeholders and team members to ensure stable operation and scalable system behaviorContribute to documentation, knowledge transfer, and onboarding activities as needed Your profile Strong professional experience in backend software engineering with C# / .NETSolid hands-on experience with modern .NET in Azure cloud environmentsProven experience with Microsoft Azure, especially:Azure FunctionsAzure Event HubStrong experience in REST API design and implementationGood knowledge of API Management, API Gateway, and publishing APIs in enterprise environmentsExperience with monitoring and observabilitysolutions, ideally including:PrometheusGrafanaSplunkStrong understanding of hybrid system landscapes, including cloud and on-premise integrationsAbility to work effectively in an existing team structure and contribute in a hands-on, delivery-oriented wayStrong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex enterprise environments Preferred Qualifications Experience with on-premise enterprise systems and connected application landscapesGood knowledge of .NET Framework in addition to modern .NETExperience with enterprise integration scenarios and interface-heavy backend systemsExperience in stabilizing and scaling existing backend solutionsAbility to quickly onboard into an existing architecture with support from internal experts and knowledge transfer Why us?
