Description
We are seeking a Senior Python Full-Stack Engineer to join the Quant Platform technology team, where you will build web apps with advanced analytics and backend automation tools for the derivatives business across all asset classes.
Responsibilities
Develop analytics and optimization tools including GUI and backend services leveraging the Aqua platformCollaborate within the Aqua high-performing delivery-focused Business Solutions teamWork with front office users to understand requirements and propose new solutionsPartner with quants and the risk engine team to deliver solutions that matterMaster complex business domains to provide solutions to critical business problemsDesign and build full-stack webapps and backend services supporting the derivatives business
Requirements
5+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong academic background in an applied engineering field such as computer science, engineering, physics or mathematicsProficiency in functional and object-oriented programming particularly PythonExperience in full-stack development including frontend webapps and backend servicesExpertise in MS Azure cloud infrastructure to deploy webapps and servicesBackground in delivering solutions via AGGrid and SSRM incorporating large datasetsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a drive to understand how things workStrong written and verbal communication skills in English with the desire to work together with stakeholdersFamiliarity with Investment Banking, FinTech or Financial MarketsCapability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
