Senior Backend Software Engineer (Java / Spring Boot / Go) Location: Greater Philadelphia (Hybrid – 3–4 days onsite) Rate: Up to $80/hr (W2 or C2C) Contract: ASAP - EOY (Minimum) Work Authorization: U.S. Citizens & Green Card holders preferred We're seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to build and enhance scalable backend services for a leading enterprise organization. This is a hands-on role for engineers who enjoy solving complex problems, learning new technologies, and working across modern cloud-native architectures. What You'll DoDesign and develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and GoBuild REST APIs and event-driven microservicesWork with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud technologiesTroubleshoot production issues and improve application reliabilityCollaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable solutionsLeverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude What We're Looking ForStrong Java & Spring Boot experienceExperience with REST APIs and microservicesKafka or other messaging technologiesDocker & KubernetesPostgreSQL, MongoDB, or CouchbaseAWS experience is a plusGo experience (or willingness to learn)Strong problem-solving and communication skills This is an excellent opportunity for a backend engineer who enjoys working across multiple technologies rather than being limited to a single stack.
