DevOps Engineer

Optomi, in partnership with a leading financial services organization, is seeking a DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer for a hybrid opportunity Rockville, MD! This role supports the migration of a legacy internal chatbot to a new AWS-powered generative AI platform. The ideal candidate will own cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and deployment processes while helping deliver a scalable, microservices-based solution. Experience of the right candidate: Experience with AWS cloud environments.Strong CI/CD automation and container orchestration experience.Knowledge of microservices architecture and AWS CloudFormation.Experience with blue-green deployments.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with secure coding or FINRA security standards is a plus. Responsibilities of the right candidate: Build and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure.Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.Provision infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation.Support microservices, containerized applications, and blue-green deployments.Monitor, scale, and optimize infrastructure while supporting the ongoing migration project.
