Job Description As our first backend hire, you will architect the distributed systems and orchestration layer powering our AI agents. You'll own critical infrastructure from day one, transforming complex agent workflows into reliable, scalable business outcomes. Location San Francisco, USA Why this role is remarkable Join an elite founding team from Meta SuperIntelligence Labs, Apple, and AWS at the ground floor of a YC F25 startup.Build the core orchestration layer for autonomous AI employees capable of replacing full human roles like ML engineers and paralegals.Secure a significant founding equity stake of 0.5–5% while solving some of the most complex distributed systems challenges in AI. What You Will Do Design and scale the distributed infrastructure that schedules, executes, and monitors complex multi-agent workflows reliably at scale.Build the critical orchestration layer that enables AI agents to understand proprietary data and embed into existing business systems.Develop internal developer tools and rapid prototypes to accelerate the team's ability to iterate on new AI agent capabilities.
