Job Title: Cloud Engineer (AWS & Azure) Location: Dublin (Hybrid) Contract Type: Day Rate Contract (12 Months) Rate: Competitive Daily Rate Start Date: ASAP Interview Process: Two Stages Overview: PFH Technology is partnering with a leading Dublin-based client to recruit a Senior Cloud Engineer with strong AWS and Azure expertise to design, build, and support secure, scalable cloud platforms, integrations, and Digital Evidence Management System (DEMS) solutions within a highly secure and regulated environment Key Responsibilities: Design and implement secure, resilient, and highly available cloud solutions across AWS and Azure. Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, and ARM templates. Implement cloud security, IAM, encryption, governance, monitoring, and compliance controls. Develop and support APIs, integrations, and data ingestion pipelines for enterprise applications and DEMS platforms. Design cloud networking solutions including VPCs, VNets, VPNs, routing, and connectivity services. Support CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps best practices. Implement monitoring, logging, backup, disaster recovery, and operational support frameworks. Troubleshoot complex cloud, infrastructure, and integration issues while producing technical documentation and runbooks. Must-Have Skills & Experience: 8+ years' experience in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a similar hands-on technical role.Strong AWS expertise including IAM, EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, KMS, GuardDuty, and AWS Organizations.Strong Azure expertise including Entra ID, RBAC, VNets, Azure Storage, Azure Monitor, Key Vault, and Defender for Cloud.Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).Experience with cloud networking, cloud security, governance, and monitoring.Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash). Experience building API integrations, event-driven architectures, and cloud data pipelines. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Desirable Skills: Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, AKS, Docker, or container platforms.Experience within Public Sector, Law Enforcement, Justice, or other regulated environments.Experience supporting Digital Evidence Management Systems (DEMS) or similar platforms.
