Summary

A fast-scaling e-commerce company is looking for a Senior Front-end Engineer to join its product team. You will be instrumental in creating visually appealing interfaces, collaborating across teams to ensure seamless web application functionality, and establishing best-in-class front-end engineering standards. The ideal candidate has broad hands-on experience with TypeScript and React, a deep understanding of the web development lifecycle, and proficiency in testing using Jest, Vitest, or React Testing Library. Experience with micro frontends is a plus. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of features from inception to production.

About The Role As a Front-end Engineer at Ovoko, you will work closely with other members of the product team to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces, and collaborate with back-end developers to ensure that the web applications function smoothly. This is a role that will allow you to use your technical skills and creativity to make a real impact on the success of our company's online presence. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL Continuously collaborate with back-end developers and UX/UI designers to improve usability of our applicationsPromote high-impact tech initiatives and work on improving our web applications based on business needsDefine best-in-class front-end engineering standards and practices, by staying on top of emerging technologies. What We’re Looking For Broad hands-on experience creating front-end projects using TypeScript and React frameworksIn-depth understanding of the entire web development process (from design to development and deployment)Experience working with micro frontends (e.g. Module federation) would be greatExperience with browser testing and debuggingExperience writing tests using Jest/Vitest/React Testing LibraryRefine leadership skills by leading and owning features from inception to productionFluent in spoken and written English. SALARY The offered salary range for this position starts at 5000 € (gross) per month.
