About Your Role
We are seeking a Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience.
You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, as well as supporting and refactoring existing solutions.
The primary ownership area will be the Bronze and Silver layers of our data platform.
What You'll Do
Design and develop batch and streaming data pipelinesBuild and maintain data ingestion from internal and external sourcesDevelop and evolve data lake / data warehouse modelsOptimize performance of Spark-based data processing jobsDevelop and maintain dbt models and data contractsImplement and support monitoring, observability, and data quality checksWork with Kafka-based streaming pipelinesCollaborate with analytics, marketing, platform, and backend teams
What We're Looking For
Strong SQL and Python skillsSolid production experience building ETL / ELT pipelinesHands-on experience with Spark / PySpark, especially in streaming scenariosUnderstanding of distributed data processing and storage systemsExperience working with data lake / data warehouse architecturesPractical experience with Delta tables, Parquet, and S3Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow or similarExperience working with Kafka and streaming pipelinesExperience maintaining and improving production-grade data pipelinesExperience with observability, monitoring, and data quality practices
