Location: Netherlands (hybrid)

Are you passionate about cloud security and want to help shape "secure-by-default" as a standard, not an afterthought? We're looking for a Security Engineer to join a team building one of the most advanced financial cloud platforms for the insurance market.
π What you'll do
βοΈ Cloud Security (AWS) β implement and maintain controls such as IAM, VPC segmentation, KMS, WAF, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, and more
π¦ Containers & Orchestration β secure workloads on ECS/Fargate and Kubernetes (EKS) with image scanning, runtime monitoring, and least-privilege access
π CI/CD Security β integrate tools like SonarQube, Snyk, and Semgrep into Jenkins and GitLab, set up security gates, and remediate vulnerabilities
π‘οΈ Application Security β conduct threat modeling and secure design reviews, run testing with Burp Suite, and guide teams on secure development practices
π¨ Detection & Response β operationalize alerts and playbooks using CrowdStrike Falcon and Microsoft Sentinel
π Identity & Access Management β manage Auth0, OpenFGA, AWS SSO, and Entra ID according to best practices
π Risk & Compliance β translate ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS requirements into technical controls and monitor their effectiveness
π© π» Who weβre looking for
You are a Security/Cloud Engineer who like working handson, solving complex problems and continuously improving systems through automation.
You bring:
β’ A Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Cloud, IT, or a related field
β’ 3-5 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or DevOps with focus on security engineering
β’ Experience with Cloud
β’ In-depth knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure), CI/CD, and SDLC
β’ Experience with SAST/DAST, dependency scanning, and Kubernetes security
β’ Knowledge of IAM tools such as Auth0, OpenFGA, AWS SSO, and Entra ID.
