This is remote role, but the applicant must be in Calgary or Edmonton region.
Total years of experience – 3+ years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, Develop, and Test Software Applications:
·Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code for various projects.
·Participate in the development of new features and maintenance of existing ones.
·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
Linux System Administration:
·Install, configure, and troubleshoot Linux-based systems.
·Manage and maintain Linux servers, including security updates and patches.
·Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability.
Collaboration and Communication:
·Work closely with senior developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
·Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
·Communicate technical ideas and plans to non-technical team members.
Troubleshooting and Debugging:
·Identify and resolve technical issues using debugging tools and techniques.
·Collaborate with the QA team to reproduce and fix defects.
Learning and Professional Development:
·Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies.
·Participate in training sessions, workshops, and conferences to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
Education:
·Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Technical Skills:
·Proficiency in Python 3.x and relevant libraries (e.g., NumPy, pandas, Flask/Django).
·Experience with Linux-based systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat).
·Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
·Basic understanding of database concepts (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
