About the RoleWe are looking for a practical full-stack developer to maintain and improve the PHP/MySQL platforms that power our media brands. You will work across application code, databases, frontend issues, APIs, deployments, performance, and security. Our systems have active users, custom business logic, and some legacy constraints, so this role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to improve an existing platform without rebuilding everything from scratch. ResponsibilitiesMaintain and improve PHP/MySQL applications.Build features, integrations, and custom business logic.Troubleshoot frontend, backend, database, and production issues.Support Cloudflare caching, WAF rules, rate limiting, and abuse prevention.Manage code and deployments through Git.Document important systems and processes. Qualifications3+ years of professional web development experience.Usage of modern AI development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex.Strong PHP and MySQL fundamentals.Experience working with an existing production application.Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.Experience with Git and third-party APIs.Located in the Atlanta metro area. Nice to HaveExperience building (or building on top of) directory and/or CMS platforms.Cloudflare experience.Experience with legacy PHP applications.Familiarity with cPanel, transactional email, or online directories.Experience with Brilliant Directories or a similar platform.
