Python Developer

The Opportunity Highspring is seeking a Python Developer – AI & Machine Learning Solutions to join a collaborative machine learning squad focused on developing innovative Artificial Intelligence solutions, including Machine Learning (ML) and Generative AI (GenAI) applications. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and ongoing support of enterprise-grade Python solutions while working closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams. This position is ideal for a skilled Python developer with strong software engineering fundamentals and an interest in emerging AI technologies. What You’ll Do Develop and maintain enterprise-level Python applications and reusable libraries.Collaborate with business stakeholders and SMEs to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.Contribute to the support, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Python-based solutions.Participate in prompt engineering activities for Generative AI applications.Maintain and optimize prompts to align with evolving Large Language Model (LLM) capabilities.Conduct regular testing, validation, and performance analysis of AI and ML solutions.Assist with prompt benchmarking and evaluation initiatives.Apply software engineering best practices, including object-oriented design, testing frameworks, and API development.Work within Agile delivery teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Contribute to system resiliency, observability, scalability, and performance improvement efforts. What You Bring to the Table Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.5+ years of professional software development experience.Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale applications.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Eagerness to learn and adopt emerging AI and Generative AI technologies.Experience working in Agile development environments.
