Client: Ford Location: Palo Alto, CA - 100% onsite Position: DevOps Engineer (Python Test Automation) Duration: 12+ month contract Interview: 1 -2 video interviews – then 1 onsite (onsite interview is mandatory) Req number: 33845 US citizens only Overview: We are seeking a DevOps Engineer (Python Test Automation) to build and maintain automated test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate is a Python expert with strong automation experience and a passion for improving software quality and developer productivity. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Python and PyTest.Build and support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Engineering teams to improve testing and release processes.Troubleshoot automation and infrastructure issues.Improve developer workflows through automation and tooling. Required Qualifications: Expert-level Python programming skills.Strong experience with PyTest, Jenkins, GitHub, and Docker.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Preferred QualificationsHardware testing experience.Technical lead or team lead experience.Familiarity with Proxmox, distributed build systems, and build tooling.
