This role is responsible for supporting and enhancing the Fixed Income technology platforms (Austraclear, Collateral, FSM) through CI/CD pipeline development, as well as further developing the Austraclear system. This role aligns to the Technology job family within the Engineering capability stream in S&P, with responsibilities across application development, CI/CD enablement, and Level 3 platform support for Austraclear, a systemically important Financial Market Infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Application Development And 3rd Line Support Develop and implement enhancements and bug fixes for Austraclear applications.Provide 3rd-line support, both intra-day and after hours, including complex incident investigation and root cause analysis. Work closely with 1st and 2nd line support teams/vendors to resolve production issues and reduce incidents.Provide housekeeping technical documentationCI/CD Pipeline Development and SupportDesign, develop, and maintain all FI systems (Austraclear, Collateral and FSM)CI/CD pipelines adhering to enterprise standards.Troubleshoot pipeline issues and support deployment activities.Drive improvements in automation, unit testing, and deployment practices.Technology Platform MaintenanceLiaise with infrastructure, security, and support teams to coordinate patching and upgrade activities across operating systems, third-party tools, and infrastructure components for the Austraclear development environment.Provide insight as platform SME for higher environmentsProvide high level platform maintenance work statements to Austraclear project team Skills And Experience Must have: Extensive experience in building GitLab Saas pipelines with Microsoft .Net systems7+ year experience working in a software engineering or platform support role within an enterprise environment.5+ year experience using Microsoft Visual Studio and .Net framework to develop productionised systems in either C# or VB.net.Experience developing queries with RDBMS such as Oracle or SQLserverExperience providing third level support to software systemsExperience working with Syncfusion or other third party .Net User ControlsExperience integrating .Net with Apache KafkaExperience liaising with various teamsProficiency with Git on WindowsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems and how it impacts software systems (cybersecurity restrictions, group policies, elevated privileges, M365 tools)Working knowledge of network infrastructure, especially as it relates to Microsoft serversExperience using Atlassian tools including but not restricted to Jira/Confluence/StashExperience in V-model /hybrid agile delivery modelExperience with classic Microsoft .net Framework, Microsoft C++, Active ReportsExperience of upgrading vendor assembliesExperience migrating bamboo builds into CI/CD pipelinesIndustry experience in Clearing House/Stock Exchange/Investment BankingWorking knowledge of SWIFT messaging protocols (SWIFT ISO15022 and ISO20022)Experience with .Net development in AWSBSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent background We make hiring decisions based on your skills, capabilities and experience, and how you’ll help us to live our values.
