Job Title: ESRI Web Developer Location: Hartford, CT Job Description: The ESRI Web Developer will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining web applications using ESRIs ArcGIS platform. This role involves working with various web technologies to create interactive and user-friendly GIS applications Key Responsibilities Web Application Development Design develop and maintain web applications using ESRIs ArcGIS API for JavaScript and other web technologiesUser Interface Design Create intuitive and responsive user interfaces that enhance user experienceIntegration Integrate GIS data and services into web applications ensuring seamless functionality and performanceCollaboration Work closely with GIS analysts developers and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needsTesting and Debugging Perform thorough testing and debugging of web applications to ensure high quality and performanceDocumentation Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for web applications including design specifications user guides and technical manuals Qualifications Education bachelor's degree in computer science IT GIS or a related fieldExperience in web development with a focus on ESRI ArcGISTechnical Skills Proficiency in JavaScript HTML CSS and ESRIs ArcGIS API for JavaScript Experience with frontend frameworks eg React Typescript Angular VueCertifications Relevant certifications such as ESRI Technical Certification are preferred Preferred Qualifications Experience with developing and deploying web applications in cloud environmentsFamiliarity with RESTful APIs and web servicesFamiliarity with DevOps practices and toolsKnowledge of spatial data management and GIS concepts Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
