Description

Cash Risk Software Engineer Kraków, Poland (Hybrid) 6-Month Contract ASAP This is an opportunity to work on business-critical trading technology, developing and enhancing high-performance applications that support FX Cash Trading, risk management, and trade lifecycle processing. You'll collaborate closely with traders, business stakeholders, and global engineering teams to deliver scalable, low-latency solutions that support both regulatory initiatives and evolving business requirements. What you'll be working with C++ and Python development within Linux/UNIX environmentsLow-latency, multi-threaded distributed systemsReal-time messaging technologies including Kafka, IBM MQ and XML/XSLTAzure cloud technologies and modern engineering practicesAgile software development and continuous improvement We're looking for someone with Strong commercial experience developing enterprise applications in C++ and/or PythonExperience building real-time, high-performance trading or financial systemsKnowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka, IBM MQ or EMSExperience with Linux/UNIX, Bash scripting and distributed architecturesExposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred)A background within FX, Rates, Capital Markets or Investment Banking would be highly advantageous
