Product Engineer

Product Engineer TypeScript | React | Express | PostgreSQL €90,000–€120,000 + equity (VSOP) | Hybrid (2–3 days per week in Berlin) We're looking for a Product Engineer to join a lean, high-agency team building an AI-native platform for short-term rental management across Europe. This role suits someone who wants to own a business vertical end to end, not just pick up tickets from a backlog. You'll join a small, well-funded team (backed by a recent €36 million Series A) at a company scaling through automation and acquisition rather than traditional headcount growth. You'll own problems, not tickets, working with genuine autonomy across product, engineering and stakeholder communication. What you'll be working on Owning features end to end, understanding the business well enough to figure things out independentlyModernising a legacy system and redesigning core data structures for 2026 and beyondDesigning and building agentic AI workflows that handle guest communication (chat and voice) and operational decisions with increasing autonomyShadowing real workflows to uncover inefficiencies and turning messy processes into clean softwareWorking in an agentic engineering style, running multiple AI coding agents in parallel as your normal way of building Technology environment Frontend: React with TypeScript Backend: Express with TypeScript, PostgreSQL and MongoDB Infrastructure: AWS, with Linear for project tracking What you'll bring TypeScript as your primary language, with solid React frontend experience alongside itReal experience building agentic AI systems using frameworks beyond the basicsA track record of shipping products to production, not just demosStrong product taste, caring about the detail down to the wording of an automated messageThe ability to manage your own work, communicate progress and flag blockers without being askedA bonus if you have founder experience or founder ambitions The impact you'll have Shaping how AI agents operate across real guest and owner-facing products, not internal toolingDirectly influencing product direction with minimal layers between you and the outcomeWorking somewhere speed and ownership are the culture, not just a stated valueHelping fix an experience that most of the industry has left automated and impersonal Working pattern: Hybrid, with 2 to 3 days per week in the Berlin office.
