Role: Infrastructure Engineer (Remote)Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere)Job Type: ContractPayout: $20 - $70/hour Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, maintain, and optimize cloud and on-premises infrastructure systems. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, security, and scalability of critical systems. Candidates should have experience with modern infrastructure automation tools and cloud platforms. Key Responsibilities: • Build, deploy, and manage scalable infrastructure using cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi). • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure reliability. • Implement and enforce security best practices, including IAM, network policies, and compliance standards. • Automate repetitive tasks to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention. • Work with development teams to optimize infrastructure for cost, performance, and scalability. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and their core services. • Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi. • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog. • Understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, subnets, load balancers, and firewalls. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git. • Ability to design and implement disaster recovery and backup strategies.
