About The Role
In this role, you will develop and enhance solutions supporting the patent grant process, a core business capability.
The role is primarily focused on delivering new functionality while contributing to application maintenance and incident resolution to ensure the stability and reliability of business-critical systems.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications supporting the patent grant processParticipate in a paid 24/7 support rotation to ensure timely incident response and service continuity (will be paid additionally)Deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software using Java and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security)Collaborate closely with the QC Engineer and other developers to deliver business valueAnalyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into reliable technical solutionsWork with SQL databases and contribute to cloud-native application development in containerized environments using Docker and KubernetesContribute to CI/CD processes using GitHub and ArgoCD, and participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiativesSupport production applications by investigating incidents and leveraging monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Loki, and PagerDuty to ensure system stability
Requirements
Strong commercial experience with Java and enterprise application developmentExperience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications using object-oriented programming principles and clean coding practicesFamiliarity with Spring Framework, SQL, and modern software development practices will be an advantageStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.Excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and ownership of technical solutionsExposure to cloud-native architectures, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, ArgoCD), and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Loki, PagerDuty) is a plus
