About The Role
Capgemini is seeking a highly skilled Lead Frontend Developer to join our team in Dallas, TX.
This hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the design, development, and delivery of innovative web applications while integrating AI-powered solutions.
As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for setting architectural standards, mentoring engineering talent, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance applications.
Your expertise in frontend technologies, combined with experience in AI/LLM integrations, will be instrumental in shaping the future of our digital solutions.
The role also involves supporting pre-sales activities, developing proof of concepts, and championing best practices in AI-enabled software development lifecycle processes.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with over seven years of frontend development experience.
A minimum of one year in a technical leadership role is essential.
Candidates should demonstrate strong hands-on expertise with React or Angular frameworks, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Experience in building enterprise-grade web applications and integrating AI/LLM platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or GitHub Copilot is highly desirable.
Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices architecture, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile methodologies is required.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and mentorship skills are vital.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Nice-to-have skills include mobile application development, AI orchestration, prompt engineering, and experience with pre-sales activities.
Responsibilities
As a Lead Frontend Developer, your primary responsibilities will include leading the development of frontend applications using React or Angular, defining and enforcing architectural standards, and ensuring adherence to coding best practices.
You will be hands-on in delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing applications through active development and code reviews.
Integrating AI/LLM capabilities into customer-facing solutions will be a key focus, requiring you to champion AI-enabled SDLC practices such as automated testing, code generation, and developer productivity tools.
You will mentor and support engineering teams, fostering a collaborative environment aligned with Agile principles.
Collaborating with architects, product managers, and business stakeholders to support solution design, pre-sales activities, proposals, and proof of concepts will be part of your role.
Additionally, you will contribute to solution architecture discussions, participate in client presentations, and help drive innovation in AI-powered web applications.
