Datacenter Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on Datacenter Engineer to support and maintain server infrastructure in a large enterprise environment. The role focuses on Windows and Linux servers, virtualisation, and day-to-day datacenter operations. Responsibilities Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers.Support a virtual environment of approximately 1,000 virtual machines across 100 physical servers.Monitor and troubleshoot server, storage, and infrastructure issues.Perform server installations, upgrades, patching, and maintenance.Support datacenter operations up to the operating system level.Manage server-side networking and connectivity.Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and system monitoring.Support multiple datacenter locations, including international sites. Required Experience 3+ years of experience within a datacenter or infrastructure environment.Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration.Experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi or similar virtualisation platforms.Experience managing physical servers and virtual machines.Good understanding of server hardware, storage, and networking within a datacenter.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
