About The Job Senior .NET Developer-10892911Senior .NET Developer Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands Start Date: August 2026 Contract Duration: 6 Months Job Overview We are looking for a highly experienced Senior .NET Developer with around 10 years of hands-on development experience to join a project focused on building scalable, cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern .NET technologies, Azure, microservices, and event-driven architectures. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using .NET technologies. Build and enhance microservices-based solutions deployed in Azure. Implement Event Sourcing, CQRS, and Event-Driven Architecture patterns. Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, including performance tuning and stored procedures. Work with NoSQL databases such as Azure Cosmos DB. Create and maintain unit tests to ensure high code quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Git and CI/CD pipelines. Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills & Experience 8–10+ years of experience in .NET development. Strong expertise in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core. Experience with Microservices Architecture and Containerization. Hands-on experience with: Event Sourcing CQRS Event-Driven Architecture Azure Event Hub and/or Kafka Strong experience with the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. Advanced knowledge of SQL Server, including performance tuning and stored procedures. Experience with NoSQL databases, preferably Azure Cosmos DB. Strong understanding of unit testing and software quality practices. Proficiency with Git for version control. Experience working with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines. Preferred Skills Experience with the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash). Experience with IBM Integration Bus (IIB) or similar enterprise integration tools. Experience with enterprise scheduling tools such as Automic or equivalent.
