Location: Abbey Wood, Bristol Working Pattern: 3 days onsite per week Contract Length: Until 31st March 2027 IR35 Status: Outside IR35 Clearance Required: Active SC Clearance Rate: £613.70 Umbrella About the Role We are seeking two experienced Software Developers to join a busy Oracle Fusion Payroll environment within a major public sector programme. This is a long-term opportunity within a DevOps-focused team responsible for delivering ongoing payroll enhancements, pay award changes, and critical business support. The work is operational and continuous in nature rather than project-based, offering stability and long-term engagement. You will support and enhance payroll services that are essential to the wider organisation, working closely with stakeholders to ensure accurate, secure, and efficient delivery. Key Responsibilities Develop and support Oracle Fusion Payroll solutionsDeliver payroll changes, enhancements, and configuration updatesSupport integrations across Oracle Cloud applicationsBuild and maintain OTBI/BI reportsInvestigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issuesWork closely with users to understand and translate requirementsSupport data loading and migration activitiesContribute to systems integration and design improvementsOperate within a DevOps and continuous improvement environmentEnsure compliance with security and modern engineering standards Essential Skills & Experience Strong experience with Oracle Fusion / Oracle Cloud (Payroll focus)Fast Formula development experienceHands-on payroll configuration and support experienceOracle integrations experienceOTBI / BI reportingSQL / PLSQLExperience with some or all of:HCM ExtractHCM Data Loader (HDL)HCM Spreadsheet Loader (HSDL/AD)Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)Elements configuration Experience Required Experience working in corporate services or shared services environmentsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced and demanding environmentStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skillsAbility to interpret user needs and deliver practical solutions Desirable Public sector experience Additional Information Must hold active SC ClearanceInterview process via Microsoft TeamsGuaranteed Interview Scheme (GIS) available (Disability Confident & Armed Forces Covenant)
