The role of Quality Development Engineer will be based in our location in Lublin, Poland.
Responsibilities
Lead quality activities for new product development projects in compliance with APQP methodology, internal standards, and customer-specific requirements.Coordinate project quality deliverables across all development phases, from concept and prototyping to SOP and ramp-up.Define and maintain Control Plans, inspection strategies, testing requirements, measurement systems, and quality documentation.Coordinate PPAP preparation, validation activities, and customer submissions.Analyze prototype, pre-series, and launch quality issues and drive corrective actions using structured problem-solving methods such as 8D, 5 Why, and Ishikawa.Identify, assess, escalate, and mitigate product and process quality risks in cooperation with cross-functional project teams.Manage customer quality concerns, deviations, and non-conformities while maintaining direct communication with customer quality representatives.
Profile
Degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, materials engineering, quality engineering, or a related technical field.Experience in automotive quality, project quality, supplier quality, or manufacturing quality.Good knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC, and structured problem-solving methods.Understanding of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and customer-specific requirements.Ability to work effectively in international and cross-functional teams.Strong analytical mindset, communication skills, rigor, and ability to influence stakeholders.Fluent English; German or French would be an additional advantage.Willingness to travel, approximately 20-40% depending on project phase.
