Description
We are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering Enablement team (Platform Engineering), where you will help establish best practices for production release.
In this role, you will drive reliability and operational excellence across our Azure-based production environments while championing SRE principles throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end monitoring and alerting for Azure-based production environmentsCollaboration with development teams to improve deployment automation, infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelinesManagement of incident response, root cause analysis and post-mortem processesOversee migration mechanics, including cutover from manually-built infrastructure to IaC without a production outageDrive reliability best practices and advocate for SRE principles across the platform engineering organization
Requirements
5+ years in DevOps or Site Reliability EngineeringHands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure, App Services and Azure PipelinesProficiency in Azure Monitor, Application Insights and GrafanaSkills in Terraform, ARM templates and infrastructure as codeKnowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and Azure DevOpsFamiliarity with networking, Key Vault and Cosmos DBUnderstanding of Identity, Prometheus and CI/CD practicesExcellent troubleshooting, communication and collaboration skillsEnglish proficiency at B2 level or higher
