JS, Node.js, GraphQL What You'll Do: Architect and develop full-stack features using Next.js and Node.js across consumer and corporate banking products.Design and maintain GraphQL APIs — schemas, resolvers, subscriptions, and federated services.Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver end-to-end features from spec to production.Lead technical design discussions, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.Ensure applications meet banking-grade security, compliance (PCI-DSS, APRA), and performance standards.Drive improvements to CI/CD pipelines, test coverage, and observability practices.Participate in on-call rotations and incident response for production systems. Required Skills & Experience 8+ years of professional software engineering experience in Front End TechnologiesProduction experience with Next.js — SSR, SSG, App Router, middleware, API routes.Hands-on GraphQL experience — schema design, Apollo Server/Client, DataLoader, federation.Solid understanding of TypeScript, testing (Jest, Playwright/Cypress), and CI/CD practices.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerised deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).Strong grasp of web security fundamentals — OAuth 2.0, JWT, HTTPS, OWASP Top 10.
