Description

Calling out all Indonesian Java Developer! Working Location: Remote (onsite Batam once the office is settle) Contract Duration: 6 months (extendable) Overview: The Java Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend applications and systems using Java. The role focuses mainly on server-side/backend development, building APIs, integrating databases, fixing bugs, and ensuring that applications are reliable, scalable, and maintainable. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. Build and maintain RESTful APIs.Integrate applications with databases and external services.Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code.Troubleshoot and fix technical issues and bugs.Perform unit testing and participate in code reviews.Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and other teams.Participate in the design and development of new features.Maintain and improve existing applications. Requirements: Java Development Minimum 3 years of professional experience using JavaStrong understanding of Core JavaGood knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)Experience with Java 8 or aboveExperience developing backend applications using Java Spring Framework Hands-on experience with Spring BootUnderstanding of Spring FrameworkExperience developing REST APIs / RESTful Web Services Database Experience working with SQL databasesKnowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar relational databasesAbility to write and understand SQL queries Software Development Experience with Git or other version control systemsUnderstanding of software development lifecycleExperience with unit testing and debuggingFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum development methodology
