As a App Engineer, you will join Turnberry's Digital Modernization practice, where technology and strategy combine to deliver exceptional digital experiences, empowering organizations to thrive in today's digital market.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain mobile applications using React NativeHelp establish and mature React Native standards, patterns, and best practicesBuild high‑quality, accessible user interfaces with a strong focus on performance and usabilityCollaborate closely with UX designers to implement consistent mobile and web experienceContribute to React‑based web applications as part of shared product teamsContribute to backend services written in TypeScript (e.g., Node.js/NestJS/Express)Integrate mobile and web applications with backend APIs and cloud‑based servicesWrite clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code across frontend and backend componentsParticipate in code reviews and technical discussions across mobile, web, and backend workSupport debugging and issue resolution across development and production environmentsContribute to documentation and shared frontend and application development practice
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent practical experience3–6 years of professional software development experienceStrong experience building mobile applications with React NativeStrong proficiency in TypeScriptExperience working with React for web applicationsExperience contributing to backend services using Node.js‑based frameworkFamiliarity with Git or another version control systemAbility to work collaboratively within agile, cross‑functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience shipping and maintaining production React Native applicationsExperience with NestJS or Express.js for backend developmenFamiliarity with mobile testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Appium, Detox, or similar)Experience with frontend and mobile test automationFamiliarity with containerized applications (e.g., Docker)Experience integrating frontend and mobile applications with REST APIsFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile and web applicationsExposure to Azure environments and servicesInterest in improving frontend performance, accessibility, and developer experience
The salary range for this role is $125,000 to $175,000 or the hourly equivalent.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
