Application Engineer (m/w/d) – Elastomer Process Materials For our client, a growing global company and worldwide market leader in innovative solutions for adhesives and coatings, vibration and motion control as well as thermally conductive technologies with a modern site in Hilden (North Rhine-Westphalia), we are looking for a committed Application Engineer to provide technical support to customers in Central and Eastern Europe. In this position, you will be responsible for expert technical support to customers in the field of rubber-to-substrate bonding agents as well as weatherstrip and glass coatings. You will work closely with the sales team, conduct trials and training sessions, and contribute to product development. Responsibilities Provide expert technical services to customers in order to clearly differentiate from competitorsAnswer product and application engineering inquiries in Central and Eastern EuropeTrack project progress and consistently carry out follow-up activitiesSupport the sales team through targeted customer visits, lab tests and training sessionsPlan and document field trials as well as laboratory experiments to meet customer requirementsPresent and promote new technologies and solutions to customersConduct training seminars and demonstrations for internal and external customers, including distributor trainingContribute customer feedback to the New Product Development process Profile Completed degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Chemistry, Materials Science or Polymer Science; additional certification and/or experience in rubber technology is an advantageAt least 5 years of proven experience in adhesives, coatings, rubber and application methods within general industry and/or the automotive sector; experience in Central and Eastern Europe is a plusProactive and self-organized working style with strong self-motivation and organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills as well as a high level of competence in customer interactionTeam-oriented personality who enjoys working in an international environmentWillingness to travel approximately 35 % of the time (customer visits in Central and Eastern Europe, trade shows, etc.)Business-fluent German and English; additional European languages are an advantageConfident use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Benefits International corporate culture and work in cross-functional, cross-border project teamsFlexible working hours and family-friendly conditions for a good work-life balanceAttractive, market-oriented compensation including profit-sharingEmployer-funded company pension schemeIndividual training and development opportunities tailored to personal potentialPleasant working atmosphere in a respectful and international environment About NonStop Consulting NonStop Consulting is a specialized recruitment consultancy with a focus on the chemical, life science and process industries.
