Senior Full Stack Engineer

To add to our expertise, we are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who will contribute to delivering high-quality code within key deadlines. About the role: This opportunity will have you working across the full software development lifecycle, from analysing needs and managing the design of the software, to developing and testing the new software to ensure it meets the identified needs. You will be working closely with product, operations and data science teams to deliver new features. The right person will be an advocate for the newest tech, someone who knows their stuff, who’s innovative and who can get passionate about their contribution! What you will bring: Solve complex technical problems and manage issues raised by employees with less experienceProvide leadership, guidance, support, training and development to employees with less experience where necessaryCollaborate with diverse stakeholders and team members, both onshore and offshore, to deliver complex technical application programs in agile environmentsLead projects from inception, design and development through to deliveryStrengthen employee/client relations, participating in conference calls and attending meetingsPush the boundaries and explore new and innovative ideas to achieve the desired resultsProvide second-level support when requiredDesign, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end web applications using Typescript, HTML/CSS, and HTTP APIsBuild interactive and user-friendly web interfaces using ReactDevelop scalable and efficient backend services with Node.jsWrite comprehensive unit tests and perform front-end testing to ensure high-quality deliverablesPerform API testing to ensure that backend services meet the requirements and handle edge casesLeverage AWS and GCP cloud providers to deploy and maintain cloud-based applications and servicesWork within a Dockerized microservices architecture to build distributed systems that are scalable and resilientManage and optimise relational databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL to ensure data integrity and performanceCollaborate with team members using Git for source control and versioningParticipate in Agile development methodology, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviewsContribute to continuous improvement by providing insights into best practices for software development and architectureOther duties as assigned by the Liveware Supervisor and/or the Client Nice to have and showcase: Experience showcasing component libraries via StorybookExperience developing mobile applications (e.g. React-Native)Experience working with GraphQL APIsExperience developing services using NestJsExperience using Kubernetes or Serverless deploymentsWorking knowledge of NoSQL data stores (Redis, S3, DynamoDB) and search (ElasticSearch)Have worked with OAuth or a similar technology Want to know more about us?
