Senior Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails / Vue.js) 📍 Location: London (Hybrid - 3 days onsite) 💰 Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 🕒 Type: Permanent My client is one of the fastest-growing fitness technology platforms globally, providing software that enables coaches, gyms and fitness brands to build, deliver and scale digital training programmes. Following several years of exceptional growth, the business is expanding its London engineering team to support the next stage of platform evolution. What You'll Be Doing Design and build scalable backend services using Ruby on RailsDevelop and maintain APIs powering web and mobile applicationsBuild full-stack features across Rails and Vue.jsOwn payment and subscription functionality, including Stripe integrationsImprove application performance, reliability and scalabilityBuild background processing and real-time featuresContribute to AWS infrastructure, CI/CD and deployment pipelinesHelp modernise the platform and drive engineering best practicesWork closely with Product and Engineering leadership on technical direction What They're Looking For Strong commercial experience with Ruby on RailsComfortable working across both backend and frontend (Vue.js preferred)Experience building scalable SaaS products and REST APIsStrong knowledge of PostgreSQL, background processing and cloud platformsExperience with AWS, Docker and CI/CD pipelinesExposure to payment systems (Stripe preferred) is highly desirableStrong testing mindset and experience delivering production-quality software Why Join?
