Role Description The Frontend / Backend Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and services across both client-side and server-side environments. This role focuses on building responsive, scalable, and efficient systems that deliver seamless user experiences and reliable backend functionality. On the frontend side, the role involves developing user interfaces that are visually consistent, accessible, and responsive across devices. It includes translating design mockups into functional web pages, optimizing performance, and ensuring smooth user interactions through clean and maintainable code. On the backend side, the role is responsible for building and maintaining APIs, server-side logic, and database systems. It includes designing data models, implementing business logic, integrating third-party services, and ensuring system security, scalability, and reliability. The position also contributes to system architecture design, code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization. It ensures proper integration between frontend and backend components and supports the full software development lifecycle, including testing and deployment. Collaboration is essential, working closely with designers, product managers, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions aligned with user needs and business requirements. The role may also contribute to process improvements, documentation, and adoption of best practices in software engineering. Qualifications Strong proficiency in frontend technologies (such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks) and backend development (such as server-side programming languages, APIs, and database systems). Solid understanding of web application architecture, RESTful services, and client-server communication. Ability to build scalable and maintainable full-stack applications. Experience with databases, including relational and/or non-relational systems, and the ability to design and optimize data structures and queries. Familiarity with version control systems, debugging tools, and software development lifecycle practices. Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues, optimize performance, and implement effective technical solutions. Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in team-based development environments and adapt to evolving technical requirements.
