Our Trading Operations Center would like to welcome a detail-oriented Platform Trading Engineer in our office in Limassol, Cyprus As a Platform Engineer you will be responsible to support, maintain, and optimize its MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) trading infrastructure. This role will be responsible for ensuring high availability, low-latency performance, and seamless integrations across various trading systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including traders, developers, and IT specialists, to enhance platform stability, security, and efficiency. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a deep understanding of trading platforms, liquidity bridges, FIX API, MANAPI, and CI/CD automation in a fast-paced trading environment. Responsibilities Manage, configure, and optimize MetaQuotes MT4/MT5 trading servers, gateways, and plugins.Ensure low-latency, high-performance trade execution and system stability.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MT4/MT5 servers, liquidity bridges (One Zero, PrimeXM, FX Cubic), and third-party integrations.Apply security updates, patches, and performance enhancements to maintain platform integrity.Optimize trading infrastructure for scalability, security, and performance.Deploy and manage monitoring and observability solutions to track system health, stability, and resource usage.Implement proactive incident detection tools for production and staging environments.Create Reports for internal or External Auditor uses.Monitor and manage user access controls and platform authentication.Provide support for complex trading platform issues, escalating when necessary.Analyse incident reports, system logs, and trade execution records to enhance platform reliability.Work closely with traders, trade operations, and IT teams to continuously improve execution quality and overall trading experience. Skills & Competencies Quick learner with a strong analytical mindset and eagerness to grow professionally.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced trading environment.Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to incident resolution.Strong communication and teamwork skills, working effectively with traders, developers, and IT professionals. Experience Requirements Technical Skills: 2 years in Administration of MetaQuotes MT4/MT5 Servers or equivalent job role.Expertise in MT4/MT5 platform administration and configuration, including Manager API (MANAPI), Bridge Providers, and FIX Engine.Experience with FIX API, FIX protocol or any custom trading integration solution.Knowledge of PrimeXM (PXM), OneZero, and FX Cubic liquidity bridges is a plus.Ability to create applications/tools using MetaQuotes Manapi is a plus.Knowledge of Trader Evolution Platform is a plus. General Technical Skills: Understanding basic IT principles, concepts and technologies including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, VPN, File Servers and Virtual Machines.Experience with MySQL databases and query writing.Familiarity with Windows Server OS, Linux OS, Networking protocols, and any cloud environment (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, SolarWinds or other equivalents.Knowledge of a scripting language is a plus. (PowerShell, Bash etc.) Trading & Business Knowledge: Familiarity with Forex, CFDs, stocks and crypto trading.Strong understanding of trading liquidity, aggregation, and execution mechanisms.Exposure to equities, options, and algorithmic trading strategies is a plus.
