Software Developer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role Develop and modify software as an individual contributor and as part of a team. Analyze system requirements and apply software engineering principles to design and code robust and reusable solutions. Leverage and critically evaluate AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and code quality. Contribute to team best practices for responsible AI tool usage, including code reviews and documentation. Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, escalating complex problems when necessary. Promote code reuse and cross-program collaboration to reduce maintenance costs. What You'll Need Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Experience with programming languages such as C++, Python, or Qt. Practical experience using AI-assisted software development tools in a development environment. Demonstrated ability to validate, debug, and improve AI-generated code and recommendations. Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including debugging, testing, and maintainability. Ability to plan and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision and communicate effectively.
